About
A small fictional college on a river, used here to show how a real college website could work.
The college
Riverside College (demo) teaches fictional further education courses across two campuses and online. Riverside Campus sits on Harbour Lane in Riverton. Mersey Wharf Centre is the workshop site. A third option is fully online.
Learners in this story are 16 to adult. The site’s job is to help someone find a course and apply.
About this demonstration
MN Labs Ltd, a web and app company in Liverpool, built this site to show an Umbraco and .NET college website. It is not a website for any real college. The courses, jobs, news and applications are fictional.
Static pages are edited in the Umbraco backoffice. Course, vacancy and newsletter pages are generated from the external database.
